Nope, I've been barefoot for over ten years but never got into trouble for it. A few people asked if it was all the same to me they'd prefer I wear shoes, but when I said it definitely was not all the same to me, it was okay too. Only a couple places in all those years told me I couldn't be there barefoot, and on one I have heard loads of totally unrelated customer service complaints. People aren't as much anti-barefoot here in Europe like they are in the US, there are no myths about it being illegal to go barefoot in stores and the like (myths, for even in the US there are NO Health Department laws about footwear in stores and restaurants!). It's not dangerous or gross or unhealthy, feet get very tough very quickly and they're fully washable.
Worms? The hookworm has been pretty much gone from the South since modern plumbing has replaced the outhouses and never was a problem in cooler climates.

Too often, it seems.
Some retail stores are rather hostile to barefooters. But I don't wish to cause problems, so I either wear footwear or, more often, I don't patronize those places. I call it the silent protest -- I don't shop there anymore. None of my money for them.
More and more, shops that I have been in barefoot many times before have caused a fuss. Perhaps due to changes in management or whatever. So, like I said, I just stop spending my money there.

I love going barefoot, the sensations are sometimes exquisite, I like driving barefoot too, the vibrations feel lovely.
I don't know about getting into trouble, but who knows, I might!

I love to go barefoot, but they say if you do it too often you get mega hard skin on your feet! Just make sure you get regular pedicures! LOL

I have not lately, but it used to happen frequently with my mother, who would always be annoyed if she came home and caught me barefoot.
