This really needs to be evaluated by a doctor to find out for sure if this is a yeast infection before you start trying to treat it. I know it can be embarrassing to go to a doctor about something like this but I would recommend going to a female doctor because I think you'll feel a little less embarrassed when talking to them about this. Also, you can ask that the visit be done in plainclothes first. When it comes to the exam itself a really good doctor will explain everything they do as they do it so that you can feel a little more relaxed.

I really think you should go to a doc...they have seen it ALL and nothing is new to them. But if you dont want to go then they make anti itch cream for women in the grocery stores and pharmacy. I had a similar problem, although not as bad I think, and I found a really soothing cream in the womens section of the supermarket that helped alot. Other than that and maybe using vaseline, I dont have any other ideas. Sorry, I hope you get better soon!

Get to the pharmacist - you have thrush probably. One small tablet will sort it!! Meantime soak some cotton wool with calamine lotion and place it on yourself - it soothes. Go sit in the bath, drink loads and loads of water. Take paracetamol if you are in pain. DON'T put anything like a cream on it - could make it 1000 times worse. You really really ought to see the doctor though.

Might be a yeast infection even without the discharge. Go to the drug store, they have over the counter cures. However, if this doesn't work, you must see a doctor, it could be something worse.

I'm gonna get this out of the way....GO TO A DOCTOR.
O.k. now, if your going to jeaporidize your health, try the "Vagisil" feminine itch cream and see if that works. Could be (with any luck) something as simple as a yeast infection.
Also, try changing your soap. Olay body wash (not the generic equivalent) helps ALOT.

it is nothing embarassing!!! Women with all sort of problems, far worse than you are seen by teh doctor every day. Who do you think goes to doctor? The healthy women who have absolutely nothing and go there to display their perfectly healthy female organs? Good luck.
