I just got back from my 20th high school reunion weekend, wife did not go mostly because she didn't want to and most of my old friends weren't bringing spouses so a couple of us just roomed together.I had a good time seeing old friends we talked and laughed, drank a little and did some danceing.
She is mad because I didn't call and check in at night,we were out late, and that I danced with other women, nothing happened, just friends having fun.Did I do anything wrong?

If what you say is all that happened, then the only thing I can say is that she was disappointed that you couldn't find a little time in your outing to think of her and give her a quick call to say, "having a good time, am thinking of you, miss you babe". It the little things like that mean a lot sometimes.

I think she is just feeling a little jealous and insecure. She probably felt like you forgot about her. You didn't do anything wrong. She needs to deal with her feelings and be more secure within herself. Maybe a short phone call to see how things at home were going would have been nice.

Your absolute NEED to keep your marriage may cause you to "go the extra mile" for a wife who seems (to you) "unreasonable" sometimes . (and this just might be one such time).

I see you think you did no wrong...BUT...your wife feels you did do wrong.

My opinion is NOT a tie breaker.

Your marriage, under GOD, is just between you two (and Him), and we "Yahoo!'s" don't really get a vote when it comes to preserving your union...it takes two (plus Him) to make a marriage.

I think it is wrong to ignore your wife's important feelings ... AND ... it was wrong for your wife to get in the way of your important trip down memory lane.

The question that YOU have to answer is...
Is this a marriage "made in heaven"?

If it is not, work on it! Never give up on your wife, so she never will give up on you!

Is yours a marriage "made in heaven"? As Captain Picard says, "Make it so." ;-)

Maybe a 5 minute phone call would have been nice - but no, it's not the end of the world.

NO you didn't but her perception is that your friends are more important than her and you should have given her a 5 minute phone call, she will get over it but she will never forget it.

Of course she is upset, because she felt left out and alone. What was wrong with you phoning her ?, it wouldn't of broken your fingers dialling the number and saying hi honey.

you didn't really do anything wrong because it was her decision not to go but you really should have been more considerate and called her and least to say goodnight.

Well I don't think that it was that bad. Some people are more sensitive than others.
