Why your spouse cheat on you, when you are in deployment or away for traning etc?

I am us army person when i came back from basic and AIT traning after 6 month i discover on x mass day that my wife slept with another person and then she said it was her mistake sorry etc etc and i had given her another chance because every one in the life do the mistake, but on my 3rd marrige anniversary i find out that now she is having another boy friend named steeve, before i say any thing she took my car and left to michigan and i end up in jail because she filed an report of domestic voilence against me for which judge cancilled the case because he said there are no way this thing happned, but i endup with mental tension and broken heart. Can any sensitive person tell me why a person do this type of things and why we donot beleave in happey family ,morals etc

1st off, thanks for being a soldier in this very trying time (my son is at "lost in the Woods" right now.
some people man and female will cheat, some don't want to be alone, some are just horny, i can go on and on, you didn't find the right person yet. relax a little and love will find you. my 1st wife and i split up after 2 years and i was quite distraught, well now im on my own and have to do house stuff that she did, including going to the bank, where i met my 2nd wife of 20 years. it just happens like that. your in a position to go anywhere in the world, see it and enjoy it, have fun and relax and when you least expect it love will walk in the door.

I am an Army wife, and I've never cheated on my husband.

To be honest, I'm too exhausted to with 2 kids to look after on my own!

I love my husband but it's really hard work and sometimes I just want to leave. I am the one handling EVERYTHING back home. Raising children, moving house, living alone in a strange place, no friends or family support. I would love to go overseas and get away from it all. I hate Army life.

BUT none of that excuses what your wife did. I would never do that. I think as someone else said your wife wasn't ready to get married, and I'm not sure you should stay with her - she may cheat again.

Keep safe, you deserve someone who will treat you well.

Nope, if I need to cheat, then I need a divorce more. The order is always: 1. Divorce then 2. Screw someone else I will say if a woman is being abused and feels she has no way out unless it's to go to another man for protection then my feeling is a little different or if one spouse has already cheated, then it's very difficult to feel sorry for them if they get cheated on.

Well Vivek some people just don't have a heart so why should they care if they brake your heart. The hard part to understand is how a person you fell in love with married and thought you knew could and would do this to you without caring about all the pain they are putting you through. I definity know what you are going through my husband of 18 years left me and our son for a co-worker so i am right there with you. The pain does ease up over time.

Let me first thank you for the great service you are doing for our nation. It IS appreciated by a great majority of us. Sorry then for the trouble you came home to find. You have every right to be angry, do avoid the pitfall of lashing out at the woman. It will just complicate you life more. Where she is concerned, far too many people are into themselves for all they can get & want everything NOW. Divorce the woman, you are better off without her & need to keep your focus on your mission & the safety of yourself & fellow troops. She does not need to be a distraction to you. Complete your tour, re-up if you wish and begin a new life when you have more time at home to get to know someone else better. One last thing, it will be difficult to trust as easily again. Guard yourself, but do not hold the next one responsible for your ex.

I was in the Navy and i seen this happen alot...Sometimes when people marry a military person (this happens to females to) the significant other doesn't know how to deal with those who have to leave for training, deployment whatever...They cant deal with the fact you leave...Its hard being married to someone in the military but, it doesn't give someone the right to cheat...
You know there are people on the base you can talk to about this...Also have you filed for divorce???

Some women just are not cut out to be Army wives.
I can only imagine it must be terribly lonely. This is not an excuse for the rest of it, she handled it badly. When she discovered she just couldn't stay faithful, she should have been honest with you, and filed for divorce.

WELL SOME PEOPLE ACT UP WHEN THEY GET MARRIED AND CHEAT AND THINGS LIKE THAT. GOOD WIVES ARE A DIME A DOZEN. AND SOME WIVES BEHAVE BADLY AND EXPECT YOU TO EXCEPT HER BACK BECAUSE SHE KNOWS YOU WILL. First off thank you for serving our nation. You don't deserve that. You need to find a loyal women who loves you. Some women are only after money,games or social status, I'm not sure. It seems allot of women today want to act as girls and play games , they don't care who's feelings they hurt. I don't understand these people. I'm really sorry that happened to you.
