i am going on holiday wednesday 5th of september 4 2 weeks when will i get paid my holiday pay as i am confused wiil i get two weeks pay the friday before i go or differently.
please help

Most employers pay vacation pay as a substitute for your regular pay so if you work for 2 weeks and then get paid 2 weeks later (like many companies) you will get your vacation pay 2 weeks after your vacation. To be sure ask your supervisor or employer if you work for a small business or the human resources or payroll department of a large company. Most large companies have strict policies about payroll though smaller businesses are sometimes flexible and some will even advance the vacation pay when people need the money to help get through the trip. It is so variable the only correct answer to this question has to come from your place of employment.

You will just get paid as normal. SO if you get paid on a Friday then you will get this as normal. If you are paid monthly then you will get your full pay on the normal date. Holiday pay only means they pay you rather than unpaid leave.

generally, unless you ask for it in advance, it is paid as normal, weekly or monthly .
