A marriage done in, or with the church, it is both a scarament and a sacred contract. The sacrament is a gift from the church, and the sacred contact is between both the church and the couple, and between the bride and groom.
It is a gift given from groom to bride and bride to groom. The pormise of a lifetime of love and faithfullness.
It is not servitude. Marriage is not slavery. It is a loving bond, entered into freely, or it is not a true marriage.
It is a vocation, as it is a life choice.
