Absolutely brilliant. J.K. Rowling is a genius, plain and simple. I'm so glad she added that 19 Years Later, because if she had not added that, I'm sure she would have been bugged many times over to create another book showing Harry's life in the future, which would have ruined the whole series for me, making it seem dragged out.

Mixed feelings is right. Wasn't as good as the last book and definitely went on too much at some points. However, I can't believe it's ended, I've been hooked ever since I was lent a copy of the first book (long before the films), went out and bought books 2 & 3 immedaitely (book 3 had only just been released in Hardback).
I was glad about the "19 years later" right at the end, however, I think people are still goign to clamour for further books, like what does Harry do as a job - is he an Auror? Who's head at Hogwarts? What happens to the surviving Weasleys? Is Victoire (mentioned in the epilogue) Bill and Fleur's daughter? Who brought up Ted Lupin? and so on and so forth.

I loved it! It really bugged me to have to put it down and stop reading in order to sleep and go to work.
I think the story line flowed well and that she kept you turning page after page, long after you should have put it down to sleep or eat!
I loved the revelations about Snape. I had hated him (as we were supposed to) from the get go, but it really was a great plot twist.
The "19 years later" part was brilliant also. It didn't leave you wondering what happened to them, who they married, if they had kids, etc.
I am sad it's over. This has been a part of our lives for so long. But as with every thing in life.. it was time to let Harry go. I am just glad I can go back and re-read all the books when ever I want to!

Very good a emotional journey it was certainly not just a simple children's story as some cynical philistines will say. Some of it was hard to grasp first time so will need to read it again. Snape was a great and moving twist in the plot overall in my opinion it was a story of redemption ( forgiveness) and love .

It was a good book kept me wanting to keep reading it, but i think that in places it was a bit bare. JK knew this was to be her last book and therefore hasn't put as much into it as she could have.
Don't get me wrong it was a great story line, and had some good twists to it, but it could have been better!
Think it will be good to watch the film when it finally comes out. lol.

It was good but i was expecting it to be brilliant. Bit of a let down that all the three main characters survived. Think she could have afforded to kill off one of them.
