I keep homeopathic arnica around for trauma and have per scribed it to patients post-surgery. It's easy to find at any health food store, even some drug stores.
You can start taking it the day before surgery without a risk of increased bleeding during the procedure.

salt in water swish in your mouth a few seconds repeat every few hours. Or use ice to help the swelling.That's all natural
