janicajayne- what about whats hes accoustomed to. like a full check and a clean house, or dinner on the table?

I think the legal system fails hard working people, and for someone to say "to keep her in the lifestyle shes accustomed to" is ridiculous. If shes so use to it get a job. To me theres no need for people poor or rich to do that, point is if you didnt have before you came into then you shouldnt leave with it unless you were married like 25 or more years and you and your partner discussed that one of you would stay home to raise a family and even then once they start school they should get back to work, i do respect people that stay home, they provide a home and meals etc and make life a little easier for the partner that works and they should maybe rate a lil decent compensation but they choose that life and if shes young enough to work then go work but if she dedicated her whole life to providing a good life maybe she should get like a lump sum pay like a bonus or retirement gift but not alimony, plus too many people steal alimony the'll live with someone or be in a serious relationship and use the money the ex is giving to support them and the new one =

You know, there are women who pay alimony to men.

It has to do with Feminist Jurisprudence and special rights for women, who falsely claim to want equal rights.
