Federal tax rates are uniform throughout the country and are based upon income. The Federal income tax rates vary from 10% to 35%. There are no per-state rates.

There is no federal tax for each individual state. Individuals, businesses, etc are the ones who are taxed, but states do not pay any tax to the federal gov't. Tax rates are set tax brackets, and depend on your taxable income level and marital status and vary from 0 - 35%

Federal tax rates range from zero to 35%, and are the same across all states.
