Richie "Dick" Allen.

sosa is a steriod homo, and the term is "shoo-in" not shoe-in, tardbag.

Sosa almost certainly won't make it, fair or not, because the evidence certainly points to steroids.

I think the OP is correct on Ichiro; he'll also get some credit for opening the door for Japanese position players.

It is FAR too early to predict Howard, Reyes, Peavy, Wright, Zambrano, or Rodriguez. Jones is either just in a horrible slump or has gotten old in a hurry, but his numbers aren't very close at this point (he is about 350 HR away from Ruth, so surpassing him seems a bit of a stretch) . Chipper Jones would be a better choice.

No Mariano Rivera or Trevor Hoffman?
It's early in his career, but Johann Santana is on the way if he can keep it up for a few more good years.

andy pettite is the guy ur speaking bout. the difficulty is that the two stats that u gave have been very group oriented. u might properly be poor and nevertheless win championships. in case you pitch a no hitter and win or if u pitch 5 innings and end 5 runs and win, their the two counted as a win. and if u play on a set with a competent offense - which the yankees have had considering ninety 5 - then ur gonna get greater wins then if ur on a set with a foul offense. pedro martinez has had much less wins over that quantity of time yet pedro became right into a much greater suited pitcher. actual the win satistic is very overated. to no longer point out his HGH useage is an argument

are you kidding me..ryan howard will not break the all-time hr record. its a little too late. Phillies should've played him earlier. Anyways....A-rod for sure will be hall of famer b/c he WILL break the all-time hr record. Im not a Yankee fan but Im a crazy GIANTS fan. We all thought Griffey would break the record but he got injured. Bonds better blaast some homers cuzz a-rod will be right behind him in no time. Hopefully A-rod will come to sf and he can be #1 all time and barry #2. He says he wants to come to SF.....u never know!
