It is a scam and you will not see a penny of the "winnings" and you will certainly lose the £1500. They will also, if you pay this amount, have details of you bank account and will then syphon off your money. Also they will have perhaps your e mail address confirmed and will then try to enter your PC and get other information about you. The rule is have no contact and delete the e mail and forget it. Also always remember. If it sounds to good to be true, it is not true.

Hey - when you get your prize money - I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you. Or you can have the ocean front property in Colorado I'll sell you for a couple dollars an acre.

Yeah - IT'S A FREAKING SCAM

A few pieces of advice:
#1) If it seems to be too good to be true, it isn't true.
#2) Nobody is going to give you something for nothing.
#3) ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Do you really know nothing about scams!?!? NEVER send anyone money in order for them to (allegedly) send you something in return.
#4) For God's sake- use your brain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a total scam. They will take your money and keep taking it, citing 'taxes' and 'fees' and 'charges.' Then they'll go on to the next sucker. You haven't won anything. It's a scam.
