EasyGoing got it pretty much right.
I would add:
First make real sure you've got a clear, wide road in front of you, & be ready to declutch & back off if it gets the least bit squirrely.
Work up slowly.
You are proposing to ride a unicycle and that takes forethought, practice, and some caution.

greater advantageous practice with a airborne dirt and dirt motorcycle first except you like roadrash. that's all approximately looking the stability ingredient of the motorcycle. and that i will notably plenty promise you which will might have roadrash earlier you stumble on the stability ingredient. Oh yeah, and if that's a 250 or 500 Ninja, do no longer even hassle attempting it, you will smash the motorcycle attempting to do a wheelie.

Do not try to learn this unless you are going to do it as stuntman, are insured(medical and life).

No one else needs to do it. Do not try to show off.

As a rule you need powerful equipment (even some cars can do this).

Most important learn it on private road; where, you have road to yourself or at a special track, wear protective equipment.

Most stuntman woman die doing what they do best, like and love the most, human error is number one reason. Followed by equipment failures and other causes.

Make an informed decision.
