"the enemy"? that sounds paranoid, very paranoid =)
i've never heard about corrupted installs of utorrent, while limewire for example has very bad reputation. however you must admit that can never know if files you download are infected or not. there can be some keyloggers and other stuff included.

I've used u torrent everyday for the last 6 months- havent had the fbi come crashing into my house yet....It seems like its a less dangerous way of downloading full pirated programs...I like it and have faith in it...theres a huge amount of people using it as well. Just watch out for the torrents- some have virus's.

uTorrent=Fine
TorrentSpy=Not so good.

TorrentSpy is a BitTorrent (also known as BT,not BT the phone company,lol) Search engine containing torrents from MANY DIFFERENT SITES.
Fake-The Enemy(as you put it.)
Real-The allies(Not the enemy)

Be careful on torrent sites.
You dont know who is watching...

I've been using uTorrent for quite some time now and I've got rid of my tin foil hat...

The FeeBees will never beat a path to my door, although the UK equivalent might consider me for a visit if I actually tried to sell what I have...

utorrent is fine.

Axxo has been replicated and you have to be careful because some of his downloads are fake, trying ot catch people out.

thats where the problem is, not the software itself.

Safe in what sense? Both are public, and both can be monitored by any one with a PC and Internet connection.
