I would have to say if I was already in the midst of something or with my kids most likely I'd not have the time to.
If I had a free moment I would if I felt I could help in some way.
I think many people these days don't feel like becoming involved... But, on that note, I was leaving the Hospital the other morning and I saw a woman about 65 fall as she stepped off the curb... I did rush to her aid and helped assess the situation and got her back on her feet and walked her to her car... so see, I am a concerned person!

I would honestly ask if you were ok. One new years eve I was staying at a motel & i heard someone crying hysterically & I went out of my room & found this poor girl to see if she was ok. Turns out her & her boyfriend were drunk & had a fight. He took off out the window??? (as you do). She was naked too, I asked her to put a t-shirt on so she didn't get cold...... I am a BIG softie!

honest.........?

I would do the whole "uncaring big bother thing" ask "you OK?, do I need to go teach someone a lesson" and depending on what you said my next reply would be either

"well then stop crying and let's go grab some lunch"
or
"why that dirty no good **********, ******** I'll ******** them a thing or two"
