the general rule for most places is at least 18+, since that is when you are considered a "legal adult." Plus, a lot of hotels require a credit card, which you may or may not have unless you are 18.

If you have a credit card you will be able to book a room at many hotels. If you have a specific hotel in mind look on their website for information. Some hotels are 18+ or 21+, but other hotels don't necessarily have an age limit as long as you have a credit card. If you are talking specifically about Las Vegas, most places are going to make you be 21. Good luck!

I think it depends on the state.

Just for example...
I just checked Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV, and the minimum age to book a room is 21.
