U R no racist. and all ghosts are shown to appear in WHITE.

Its been a convention for ppl to portrray ghost as someone weird, horrifying, fully clad in white robe/apron sort of things.

So, don't mind all of them. COOL......

OK. You are not a racist. You just have a good eye for color.
The reason that the movies only depict white people seeing the ghosts is that Black people, and Asians already know about ghosts being real and are so worried about them that they have already left the movie set and are not around when the cameras begin shooting film.

In advance...apologies to all my Black and Asian readers. I offer to change the wording to "Non-white" if that is more acceptable.

Having been on several working movie sets before, I have often heard "Non-whites" say that they couldn't pay me enough money to get up there on camera with that Ghost, etc., etc. i do believe that Whoopee Goldberg has been a noteable exception to the rule, and made a bundle doing her various roles because she did not fit into the normal mold. She is also a fantastic actor, and funny beyond average limits.

I don't know, but I'll be honest, I have noticed that as well. I don't know why, I have a few 'answers' but I can't think of away to say them with out sounding racist. I've know a good bit of non-white people that believe in magic and voodoo, but really have ever known/seen white people see ghosts and UFOs. Maybe because its such a 'white' thing, that people from other races don't want to say they've seen it. Our world has gotten to the point that being called 'white' is an insult, so maybe they're to scared to come forward, or don't want the drama or something. I'm sure non-white people see them too.

BTW: What does this have to do with Astronomy and Space?

Maybe Hollywood is a little racist. The studios hire more white people than any other. There are not many big-time black actors or hispanic actors, etc. You are not racist, you are right! Hollywood needs to expand their vision of the beauty of all races of people.

i may be wrong but other groups seem to be more spiritually in-tune, thus seeing and accepting ghosts and other supernatural phenomena are not going to cause a big reaction. besides, TV as we know it caters to the masses. what people expect to see on these shows is someone being scared/freaked out.

You are not a racist, your question is cute.
There are some videos where black people do talk about Ghosts and such on you tube.
I personally think it is just a hoax, but ehy anyone is free to believe whatever they want.

Maybe its just the certain show your watching, because on the haunting shows i watch, there are all kinds of races on there. Thats weird, and very racist to do of what the show that your watching is doing.
I dont think your racist.
Its not your fault.

If its a fiction then this is purely because of who the target audience is - i.e. mainly white adolescent males - and nothing to do with race or being PC.
