When you're around girls who also get periods, for an extended amount of time, does the chemistry of your bodies change to match one another so that your periods come at the same time?

I thought the answer was false...because I don't understand how or why our bodies would change...even chemically, to match those of someone else. It just doesn't make sense. Those of you who reply with Fact, could you please also explain why? and how? I think this is just a myth.

TRUE!!

I don't know any studies off hand only experience! In fact my daughter and I ran th same for years till she moved out.. Then I went into menopause.. I didn't have my period for 13 months! let me tell ya that was heaven after 30+ years of them!!! When she moved back in with me BAM! It all came back and right in sync with her AGAIN!!!
I've worked with other women and we all had our periods within days of each other!
I think it has to do with all the females in a group being receptive at the same time IE all children born in the spring when food was plentiful way back when humans were evolving. Also something to do with the "alpha female" being the leader of the group.
weird huh but yup it's true!

Not a 100% of the time, but this is a Fact. It must be pheramones or something like that.

Total fiction. Your system is your system. The way you handle your period may change due to how they do but it wont actually change the timing of yours because it doesn't change your chemical make up. You are more likely to feel sympathy for them if they have really bad cramps and feel some yourself but unless it's time for your period it wont cause that to change.
