A few things to try:
Make sure both of you have washed your genitals before starting- this can reduce the amount of bacteria being passed back and forth.
Use a condom the whole time- especially if this is your only form of birth control! Women can absolutely get pregnant from precum.
Try a different position that doesn't put as much friction on her urethral opening- sometimes just the irritation and pressure can contribute to a UTI.
Most importantly, make sure she is drinking plenty of water every day, and have her pee directly after having intercourse. This will help flush out any bacteria or irritants introduced during sex.

About 10-20% of the women around the world get UTI after having sex. Peeing before and after is important but the main reason is the physical structure of those women who suffer from recurrent UTI's, something to do with the proximity of the urethra to the vagin entrance and so when intercourse happens the thrust of the penis caues the bacteria that "lives" in that area to enter the usually sterile environment of the bladder. The only way most women with this problem have a sort of "normal" sex life is taking an antibiotic pill either before or right after sex this prevents
form an infection to form.

Had the same problem with my Ex-Fiance. It may be the condom, but it may not be. There are two things that worked for her when I was with her. The first one may sound strange, but if she pees soon after sex, the problem may go away. My Ex had to do this every time and once she started doing this, the problem was gone. The other is to have a regular supply of cranberry juice on hand and her drinking it often. Not the stuff that is only 10% juice, but the real stuff. The acidity or something else in it helps keep the UTI's away. Hope this helps.

The condoms could be the problem, but make sure she pees right after sex every single time, that is why a lot of women get UTI's after sex.

When I was younger I got UTI's all the time. A urologist told me the action of sex slams bacteria into the urethra causing the infections. He gave a pill to take everytime I had sex. And told me to urinate to flush out the urethra.
I used the the pills for about six months. Then dropped them but continued to flush the urethra afterwards. Had very very few UtI's since.

Try making drinking of water a habit, and most importantly, Cranberry juice. Cranberry juice has natural antibacterial & antioxidant features that efficiently prevent & get rid of UTI problems. Also, try improving your hygiene down there, including making sure that whatever goes there (hands, etc) are thoroughly clean - UTIs are caused a lot by external bacteria. Hope these points help! Good luck :)

They call this "Honeymoon Cystitis" because it happens after sex.
Tell your wife to pee before AND after sex to make sure she has flushed out any bacteria that can enter the urethra.
Make sure you are clean, especially your hands, nails.
And if you are involving anything in the "butt" area you need to be sure that you both are really clean when entering the vagina. Sounds weird, but that bacteria is usually the cause of the UTI.
