The Taliban supporting traditional family values and gender roles????? You have got to be kidding. They execute people for listening to the wrong kind of music. They're a totalitarian regime.

Youre forgetting that they give Al-Queda and the like safe haven. Anybody who supports terrorism is an enemy of the US.
The taliban were for tyranny. I may not believe in or fully support the things you mentioned, but that doesnt give me a right to put people to death because they live an immoral life even by my standards.
In these times after Jesus, God will be the judge in Heaven. There is no nation set apart to be holy accept Gods people in his church which is part of a spiritual kingdom, not an earthly one. God will judge.

I don't care what happens in the wilds of Afghanistan if it doesn't result in a bombing over here.
