Listen people just like to hate on other people. Duncon is too boring, Kobe is a ball hog, AI sryed till he got his way. Any of these sound familure the fact is If you are a Super star you are going to be loved by some and hated by others. But as a fan just cheer for your guy

Lebron is a great player, but he has the problem of being compared to Jordan. Here is my take on the subject. Lebron is nowhere near the overall talent level of Jordan, but can put up good numbers because the league has changed alot even since Jordan left. Right now, Lebron is just a good athlete, but has no jumpshot and can not make a free throw. All he does is drive and try to outmuscle his defender. He is just a very raw talent, and needs to be developed. Unfortunatly Cleveland does not have the personnel to do that. People only compare him to Jordan because they want to be a part of something special, and these high expectation is what causes people not to like Lebron. Some people could also be upset with his over-exposure. EX: ESPYS, constant commercials, who's now, olympic team back and forth, and all of the constant coverage of lebron's greatness in the playoffs, when really he was either hot or cold.

Why ask the question if you are not going to accept anyones answer. Making a topic just to argue is stupid, and you should take this somewhere else.

I don't hate La Bron It is just the media is having a love affair with him and he is overrated to me because I am a western conference junkie. He has no jump shot and he can not close games out. Kobe is the best in the world and I feel Carmello is a more polished player offensively (that why he as all world in the last Olympic games not La Bron).

Perfect example what happen in the Olympic practice game tonight Kobe closed it out an La Bron Choked !!!!!

Edit: And I agree with Oliveranda: Carmelo is a more polished player. Certainly a better scorer than Wade and James. Just like you have been saying in your answers, he scored more than Kobe, and 10 more than Lebron.

Maybe because the media and Lebron himself try to compare him to Micheal Jordan. Which is a good reason to bag on Lebron, he's nowhere near Mike.

Also he is obviously not the best in the NBA, his shot selection is horrible, incosistent free throw shooter, and is defintely not someone you want to shoot the ball when the pressures on.

cus he killed NBA unmarried handedly. Because his expectations are enormous. He was named the Chosen One even before he started his career. People hate LeBron because people talk about him all the time.

I would say it's not his fault. He doesn't actually anything more hateable than any others. Cocky? Not more than the rest of the league. Selfish player? Seriously haha

I don't hate him

I dislike him a little bit and I believe he is one of top 5 players in the league

He has gone beyond people's expectations and has lived up to the hype...well most of it


He's a terrific player but he doesn't get things done tho when it counts

People labelled him as the next jordan and he acted like it with the media without playing a single nba game

HE choked and couldn't make the playoffs a couple years ago when his team was in like 6th place in the East with 20 games and they ended up not making the playoffs....he was like 8 games away from the last spot in the East

Its not his fault that he gets the attention....but he doesn't stay away from it either right? HE is not humble at all

He likes the attention...nothing wrong with that...but he pours more on himself ...the LEbrons commercial? wtf?

Plus people in the East Coast and ESPN keep labeling him as the best player in the game right now....which he isn't

its just the fact that ESPN and other networks and companies keep labeling him as the next big thing and as the savior of the league and he goes along with them.....while doing nothing to prove that on the court juss goes to show that he's nothing but ALL TALK when it comes to being the best in the business

I know he is a phenomenal player but he gets waaayyyy too many calls to go his way...he gets the benefit of the doubt in the majority of close calls

He gets away with traveling too....those are fixable flaws so i hope he corrects them and doesn't do it often in the future like he does right now

Basically I started hating him when his games were being broadcast on ESPN in high school. I also think the Hummer and Jersey thing was way over the top. He knew better.
