i have a child with a guy i had been seeing for 4 years and now we have been seperated for almost 5 months and now he wants to get back together and im not sure if i want to right now but my baby misses her daddy and i feel like im depriving her of him what should i do?

also my daughter is 16 months old and she cries everytime he has to leave and it makes me feel worse!!

Dont settle dear, you two can date see how it goes take it one day at a time you dont have to get back together and you arent depriving her of anything, if he wants to be a father he'll be one wether hes with you or not.

No matter how this sounds....DO NOT get back together with him for the sake of your child! Im all for families staying together, but if you really dont want to be with this guy and get back with him because your child misses him, you will always have some sort of negative feelings for him and as time goes on and your ugly feelings towards him increase, your child will sense these things and grow up only knowing what a disfunctioal realationship looks like and will follow that path in life as well...........SO for the sake of your child, be the mommy and do what makes you happy, for in the long run she will know happiness as well. I am divorced and get visitations with my kids. We had or rough times, but now we share some of the happiest times together....Two un-happy adults = unhappy kids.

I would give him a chance but if you insist on not seeing him try to tell your child i dont know the age of your child so it would make a difference in what you say
0 months to a year= he or she probably will forget about him
2 years to five years= tell them that the guy you were seeing had to leave because he moved yes i know its hard to lie to your child
6 years to 10 years=tell them that you dont like him anymore and that he is a bad man
11 to 13 years= he turned out to be a drug dealer after all those years you never knew but no you do so you broke up with him

No! Before you know it you will have gone back & forth for 15 years and wasted alot of time & good years you could be with someone more stable! Your baby is young enough to adjust. Don't do it....

if you do not love him get child support and custody with a judge and let him visit the baby. you can't go with and live with someone you areally don't love and you will find love and be free to go.
