If you see a hollow earth somewhere, let the geologists know. They could save a pile of money. In theory, a person at the center of the earth would be in equilibrium, as the mass one way equals that the other. There are local differences in the force of gravity; and the earth is not exactly spherical due to centrifugal force. It would be oval, however Antartica and its ice-cap are not balanced by the Arctic regions, so there is some distortion in shape.
