I'm not sure...but there must be SOME reason! Perhaps God gives us life as a TEST, to see if we are worthy to make it to the big league...aka heaven...;0)

When people start asking questions like this, all I can assume is you must have very low self-esteem or sense of self-worth, or else you have a case of clinical depression. Everyone on earth has a purpose of being here, and what your purpose is depends on you--how you live your life, how you treat others, are you kind to animals, etc. Someone said life is a test, and it is--from the time you draw your first breath until you take your last one. In between times, you do your best and that's all you can do. But, you have to TRY. You can't give up just because something didn't go right at school or work, or you broke up with your girlfriend/boyfriend, divorced your husband/wife. God doesn't expect us to be perfect. He knew we wouldn't be--that's why the earth has existed for 5 billion years. We get better as we age or evolve. If you need help with something like this, talk to a minister/priest/therapist, etc.

Perhaps you chose to visit this planet in the form of a human being from a spiritual realm someplace.

You wanted to have this opportunity in order to experience what it it feels like. This being part of the promotion course requirements required by the Evolution University you attend there.

Unfortunately one of the restrictions on this activity is that you have to agree to having your memory of your spiritual home removed. This is to prevent having an unfair advantage over the humans there as they don't have your super powers.

To experience that of which it has to offer... yet I am skeptical of the meaning of which you seek.

In the sense of quantum reality time/space have no meaning if it exists with out measure. If time is truly measured threw a means of "entropy" than if there was no one here to make the initial measure than would there exist any sense of space/time?

I believe we're here to learn from this world. If there's an afterlife, it must come in handy somehow.
