There are lots of "free" things to do in Chattanooga. There is the river park / walk, there are several Civil War battlefields, free concerts downtown (day & evenings), on Sunday's at First Tennessee Pavillion there is always something going on for free. For a charge the Aquarium, art gallery, musuems...Rock City, Ruby Falls...google "what to do in Chattanooga" Have a great time...it is a great place to visit.

I think of my trip to Disney World about ten years ago. We stopped in Chattanooga to stay the night during our trip.
