There are a lot of things you can buy to put in a PC Card slot. You need to find out what kind of slot it is, AGP, PCI, PCI Express?

You can get things like another video card for dual or tripple monitor. A Gigabit ethernet card to network computers, or a wireless ethernet card. You can get a few additional USB ports. You can basically get a card for anything you might want to plug into your computer.

A PC (or air) card is like a phone card.....it has an antennae and is the size of a credit card. It slips in, locks in place and once you initialize it, you can be online wherever you are. Ive been using it for years now.
