Is it harder to get pregnant when you have NF...? I have heard it is, but was not too sure. I'm asking because I am 17, almost 18, and have NF. I just recently had sex, and we didnt use a condom, but he pulled out, and it has always worked for him. It was about 1 or 2 days after my period ended. What are the chances I could be pregnant...?

What is N/F?

And, "pulling out" is definitely not a safe birth control option. Based on the time of month, you probably will not get pregnant, however, be more responsible, use birth control next time. Parenthood is not a game, it is an honor.

Regardless of what other conditions you have, use a condom when you have sex. It doesn't matter if it "worked for him in the past"...pulling out makes parents out of 1 in 5 (19%) of its users each year. It's just common sense...if you don't want a baby, and you're performing the act that makes babies, TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS.

It doesn't look like this disease impacts most people's fertility, from the simple google search I have performed, but that your child does have a higher chance of having NF as it is a dominant gene.
