Is it 18 or 21? I know that you can't buy tickets for minors unless you're 21, so is it the same with buying rated R dvd/vhss' as well?

It's definately 17, you have to be 18 to buy a NC-17 movie or any tape/DVD sold in a sex store.

actually i think its 17 because you only need to be 17 to go to R rated movies in theaters most places don't care anymore though they'll just let you buy it unless your like under 13

Over here in New Zealand you have to be 18 to buy Adult Videos/DVD's.
