Burn a single from a downloaded cd?

I want to add a specific song to a CD that I'm making, but it's only available for download by purchasing the entire album. The song is not sold separately on any site I've visited. If I download the full album, will I be able to pick and choose songs from that album, and burn just those songs onto a custom made CD? Or will my only option be to burn the entire album onto a single CD?

If you download the entire album, you will get all the songs that are on that album. They will be their own individual files, so yes, you will be able to pick whichever ones you want to put on a CD.
