I'm 27 wks along. Sometimes I can feel a body part of the baby right up against the skin of my baby. Not sure what it is cuz I'm not sure what size he is. Approx. how long &/or how much does a baby weigh around 27 wks?

About 2 pounds and about 13 1/2-14" long. My son was born at 29 weeks and he was 14 1/2" long and 2 pounds 15 oz. A baby should be longer than 10" at 27 weeks. My daughter, whom we lost last Aug was born at 21 weeks and was 10 1/2" long.

BUY THIS BOOK: A Child Is Born by Lennart Nilsson and Lars Hamberger. You can buy it on e-bay VERY inexpesively (a couple of dollars). i didn't think of looking there when i bought mine. i paid $30 for a soft cover book at Barnes and Noble... ANYHOW, the photos are amazing... i just can't say enough about that book. YOU NEED THAT BOOK you'll enjoy and treasure it! i'm not planning to have any more kids so my husband suggested that we get rid of all of the pregnancy books (we're moving and he wanted to pack less) I WILL NOT give up my book... the process from conception to birth is truly a miracle shown step by step with REAL PHOTOGRAPS.

Me too - the baby is about 14 inches long, and 2 - 2.5 lbs, (one kilo).
