Its hands down that he is the best player in the nba, possibly the world but every since the rape issue, alot of people seem to dislike kobe bryant even though of what he do on the court. LIke him or not, he's the best but the comments i read on answers.com seem like some of you all don't like him personally or something when its not that serious.

oh, i know he's not much of a team player who make his teammates better. but he has a bad supporting cast. if yo teammates sorry, the points come somewhere! and plus, he not a point gaurd! thats mainly the point gaurd job

2 words on why he is not the best player in the nba: BALL HOG.
C'mon, averaged 30 ppg, takes 20-25 shots, always tries to be the one that scores if its a close game in the 4th quarter. Only averages 4.4 assists. I mean, even people who have 30+ point games have either a good amount of assists or they take less shots. Look at Steve Nash, he averages 11 assists per game, which is one way to get your team productive and to win. And also, remember that streak of 50+ point games, or the 81 point game? I don't hate Kobe, but if he actually shared the ball a lot more and took less shots, I would think he is a good player.

He has no talented players around him. Lamar Odom can play but he shouldn't be the second scoring option. But the Lakers have some good young players. Andrew Bynum is promising and Luke Walton is getting better.
They need to bring in another proven scorer. Maybe its Marc Gasol but we don't know much about him. The Lakers can build a championship team around Kobe but they need another scorer.

I will give you this, he is an amazing basketball player and really fun to watch.
I don't dislike him as player, except the fact that he is a Laker (I'm a Spurs fan). I generally dislike his attitude and the fact that he needs to grow up. He threw his team mates under the bus this summer, along with the organization. He should be a team guy and have faith in your boys that walk the court with you every night.
Athletes have a responsibility to not behave badly. Little kids look up to them, whether they like it or not.

i dont really like kobe because he's a ball hog even when hes' having a off game,and for putting shaq on the spot like that? shows you what kind of man he is.BUT!! i will admit that he is the best palyer in the NBA but wouldnt go as far as the best ever, maybe if he can avg. 8-10 assist a game then i'll consider it

Yea' no doublt that he is best player in the nba. I 've nothin' 2 hate him. I guess they cannot get over 'bout rape issue or whatever that reason is but they will need to get over it cuz it's rape issue is over. Kobe haters need to get a life for sure!

Hey I admit it he his hands donw the best player in the leaguge but I hate him because of the team he is on im a Suns fan so I hate all players in the pacific conference that are no on the Suns but if he were to end up in phoenix then I would love him.
