The stove. One would need it to cook food.
Storing food isn't all that vital - because our ancestors managed very well without refrigerators !
And what is the idea of wanting to 'spank' all those who answer you !?!

The refrigerator is much more important because it prevents most of the foods from spoilinh quicker than what they would if they weren't in a fridge. There are so many food items that need to be placed in a fridge, and don't need to be cooked on a stove top or oven. That is why a fridge is more essential than a stove.

The refrigerator. We could cook just fine with fire before we had the stove, but how in the world would we keep our food cold? We wouldn't, unless there was snow on the ground or we lived in some very special community that had extra-cool basements since they were underground. Those did exist...I went to an excavation of one.

The refrigerator because without it it would be very difficult to preserve food. However, if the stove did not exist, then people could always make a fire and put pots and pans on the flame...it would take longer to cook...but it would still work.

refrigerator because a fridge keeps things fresh/keeping things from rotting. and u could always find a different way to cook things other than cooking it on a stove for instance u don't need a stove to make a regular salad and if u do need a fire u could always make one or if a grill doesnt fall under the category, then u could use a grill.

Definitely the fridge and here's why:
I'm from south florida and when hurricane wilma and katrina hit that summer we were out of power for weeks!! AND I MEAN WEEKS!!
My mom is from a country where electricity is not as "popular" as it is here. She gathered cement blocks together and some wood and she made dinner outside everyday for about three weeks.
The only problem was that we didn't have anywhere to keep the uncooked meat that we bought so we had to drive a couple of miles everyday just to buy the meat. (or else it would've spoiled if we let it sit out) We had a cooler but it couldn't quite do the job!!
So there u have it...the refridgerator!!

The stove, no doubt! You like the hot stuff, or the cold, frigid type?! Very often, the weather can provide the fridge effect: but never the stove!

The refrigerator for me, humans have been cooking over an open flame for a loooong time, but it has been only recently, that we've been able to keep food longer (without salting) without much effort!

The refrigerator. You can always use a microwave or grill instead of the stove.
