i did something with my keyboard and now i'm getting caps even though caps is off...yu know i'm getting all the shift+keys ...instead of normal things ...what do i do?
i'm using windows xp

Perhaps a shift-key is stuck? Test this by typing the numbers on the top of the keyboard. If the symbols above the numbers appear instead, you have a stuck shift-key.

First turn off your computer. Then disconnect the keyboard and then reconnect it. See if it still happens. If so, then run a virus/spyware scan on your computer. If that turns up nothing, then try replacing the keyboard. If that still doesn't work then you should try calling tech support.

Something else you could try is taking a screwdriver and pulling out the Caps Lock key and then put it back in. Only do that if it is a normal computer keyboard though (not laptop type).
