Do you have what you want, or want what you have?

i learn that you can't always have what you want and that what you have is actually what you really want except you might not realise it yet...
i still want some more but what i have would be enough for now...

I have what I want. Sometimes people don't want what they have, like homelessness, pain, debt, rotten job, old car, bad relationship, no income, illness, living in fear, war, rotten kids, rotten parents.
We cannot always be the ones to make those choices that life hands us, but sometimes we can make modifications, choose a path less familiar, and succeed in spite of everything. You know, making lemonade, instead of complaining about the lemons.

I want what I have and trying to teach my child that NEED is not the same as WANT. But unlike most I don't try to keep up with the Jone's.....so for me it's wanting what I have and making the best of it :)

I am satisfied with life if that's what your asking. I lived on the "final frontier" for years, before 'Nam, the Minnesota/Canadian border and I miss it terribly, the nearest neighbor 38 miles away, but my health prevents me from going back. My ashes are going back to be free.

The thing I have don't control me so there are very few things I have to have.
