He is wrong at a minumum on the aspect that it is human caused. Whether or not global warming exists at all is still an ongoing debate and has not been SCIENTIFICALLY proven. when you have a predetermined theory and you look for evidence to support it you are not using science, just like they did with second hand smoke. I mean one of the number one pollutants according to gloabal warming scientists is dihydrogen monoxide or H2O and as we all know that is water. So since water is a contributing factor to global warming should we ban it? Either way I think it is very egotistical to say that humans have that much control over a planet that has been around as long as this one and been through the things this planet has. Then there is the fact that these global warming scientists tell us that mars is going through global warming also, how are we causing that? If mars can go through global warming without himan involvment then how did we get so into ourselves to think we are causing it on this planet? Either way i am going to live my life and deal with changes forced on us by government while fighing them all the way and not worry about what we may or may not be causing.

He is wrong, therefore I'm already doing what I would do. I'm living my life as if he doesn't matter, because he doesn't. Plus no matter how I live my life I can never become as big a polluter as Al Gore,so I can say I'm doing my part even if I believe he's wrong. He on the other hand has zero credibility on the issue of pollution as long as he lives like he does.

it has already been 5 years + and no flooding don't let them have this excuse to take more money from you
by the way there are just as many scientists saying global warming is not happening as there are saying there is

Just go on living like I have. Maybe chuckle a bit. A politician is an authority of Global Warning?

It is wrong and the government has already spent billions of dollars on it. That makes it a serious political issue. Somebody needs to get real! And I intend to write letters to my Congressmen and Senators to stop spending on it.

If Al Gore is wrong, then all the hundreds of scientists who have been studying this subject and make their claims of global warming is occuring due to human activity and they back it up with scientific evidence are all wrong. And, so is all their years of gathering scientific evidence. So far, Al Gore isn't a scientists but he is passionate about this issue and he cares. But it is the scientists who are the ones who have been producing the facts of this matter long before Gore came to it. If we ignor the facts and do nothing about our consumption of fossil fuels that produce green house gases, then we all lose.

Let's look at it both ways.

Gore (and thousands of scientists) are wrong. If we followed their advice, we would have invested in energy efficient technologies, cut down on global pollution, and the world isn't going to end.

Gore (and thousands of scientists) are wrong. We ignore the warnings, pump huge amounts of toxins into the air, waste lots of fossil fuels, and while the world doesn't end, it's still more polluted than it was five years ago.

Gore (and thousands of scientists) are right. We ignore the warnings, and suffer catastrophic climate effects over the next half-century.

So, if we ignore the warnings, it's either a partial loss or a fatal loss. If we do as the environmentalists suggest, it's either a minor win, or a major save. So, our options are lose-lose if we ignore them, and win-win if we don't. Whether they are right or not.

Not much really. People really didn't do anything after they found out Bush was wrong about WMD. Why should they care about Al Gore and his DVD?

Well, he's done nothing to prove he's right. Based on his energy use, I don't think he really believes what he's selling.

Anyhow, he's making claims the UN and New York Times won't even back up at this point.
