ok I am still a virgin and proud of it however there are so many girls at my school that are pregnant and its quite upsetting that they are throwing away their lives by getting pregnant! so my question is do guys really pressure girls that much or is there guys out there that will wait to have sex till they are married and have found the right girl?

YES there are guys out there who are willing to wait until marriage!!!But they are probably not in your school though!!

well i'm in my 20's now but i can remember high school very well. and my school had lots of pregnant girls too. but here's the thing pressure comes from both sides. everyone jsut wants to grow up fast and be adult because they think it's so fun. i'm know that some girls try to get pregnant but just as equally some don't. you just have to remember that no matter how young or old you are people make mistakes. there are guys out there that will wait until marriage i personally know a few. but marriage doesn't mean forever anymore. if you have that special bond with someone than it doesn't matter if you have that piece of paper signed. i'm engaged right now and i can tell you that i'm 16 weeks and 4 days pregnant with a planned baby and we don't regret anything. we are committed to each other more than most married people and that is all that matters. we will be getting married a couple of months after the baby was here and in our eyes we couldn't have planned it more perfectly.

I was a virgin til I was 18 watched alot for my friends get pregnant. I think some of them think the guy will stay around longer if they get pregnant or they will be liked more by certain types of guys. There are guys who will wait til you are ready. My husband was very patient and understanding. I am glad that there are still girls like you still out there. As a mom of two girls I hope they at least wait til they find the guy they want to marry. It frustrating at times but I was always glad that the one thing I never had to worry about was being pregnant.

i agree with everything you said that its a waste of thier lives but some guys pressue girls NOT all guys. Peers of both sex all so pressue people to have sex becuase its the "cool" thing to do know. i all so believe that some of the celebritys pressue teens to have sex by them just having sex and throwing there virgininty away like it doesnt matter people look uo to celebs then think oh ive got to do that to be "cool". Im going to wait intill im married. still a virgin and proud of it!!! I think its bad that girls are having sex at a young age but some girls dont have enough education on that situation either. SOORY IF I OFFENDED ANYONE!!!!

There are a lot of guys out there that feel the same way you do. They are also under pressure, by their peers, to have sex with a girl. They think this makes them a "man". Don't give in to your principles about sex and marriage. You will be glad you did.

I think that sometimes the pressure works both ways, but moreso in that a guy will pressure a girl into doing it. But if you wait patiently and long enough, you will find a man (not a guy or a boy) who will wait until you are both married and ready to share this precious moment with you. I commend you for not falling into peer pressure and I hope that my teen daughter follows in her moms footsteps. And that is to wait until marriage.

I think that guys really don't pressure girls. I too, am a virgin and no guy I have been with has pressured me. I think it's really just the girls choices.

Yes guys do pressure you. I'm fifteen and I have only had one boyfriend and all he wanted is sex. I broke up with him a week later, when he wouldn't even walk around school with me. I'm glad I didn't give in to the pressure.

Waiting is a very good thing. I was a virgin until I married, at 22. I do not regret waiting.
