Like someone said before attacks have always been occurring. The terrorists don't care who is in office. What it all comes down to is that we are disliked because of your relationship with Israel. And that relationship will not change, whether there is a democrat or republican in office. I know its the "in" thing to hate Bush and the republicans, but don't forget that its all because of our alliance with Israel. Plus, Bin Laden had been planning 9/11 since the mid 90s...Had nothing to do with republicans..

No.

The attacks have occurred every 7~9 years historically since the 1970s. So, by the math, the next expected attack would be between 2008 and 2010 -- regardless of who is in office.

The terrorists attacked during Clinton years and he chose to ignore it (U.S.S. Cole) . They came back because we ignored it. Not to mention that Clinton left Bush with an inadequate military system and antiquated machinery and equipment as very little funds were spent on the most important thing in our country SELF DEFENSE.

For the list of bombings/attacks attributed to terrorists can be found at:

The only one missing (I think) is the 1993 attack on the WTC in the garage causing minimal structural damage except for three parking levels.

Very possibly. Republicans are much more likely to be provocative beause of their triumphalism and propensity to act in a risky manner
