Losing EVERYTHING.
*My past year reads like the lyrics to an old country and western song:
**Ex wife blew a gasket and left the family after 13 yrs. of marriage.
**The kids decided to live with her after six months with me.
**She/her boyfriends/her family badmouthed me to the point where my kids were afraid of me (i.e., I'll beat them/kidnap them -really, etc.).
**The court order had me paying 2/3's of my take home pay to her, and I was eating raw vegetables and boiled rice for two months, while I tried to make my house payments, etc.
***I really WAS preparing to live in the wgt. room of the school where I teach over this summer, until I could figure out what to do...
*I misread the court decree: I was paying DOUBLE what the court ordered.
*My (ex)wife so totally screwed up the kids, that I now have full custody of my daughter (court order), and my son is with me for the summer.
*I can BARELY meet my financial obligations, with just enough money on the side to make payments on a second mortgage, should she decide to try to get a piece of my house.
*Oh yeah, I began taking formal martial arts classes (after a 30+ yr. layoff), and sparring in martial arts tournaments as a way to deal with my feelings of rejection and loneliness.
**I now get my tail kicked every month, and whenever we spar at my dojo (my second fear: getting my tail kicked in public ...).

my biggest fear is that when my daughter needs me the most I won't be there to save her -
once anyone has kids most of their biggest fears revolve around them -

spiders attacking me in my sleep, or while i'm awake for that matter.......... i don't think that's the fear you're looking for, but just thought i'd tell ya.
