U.S. Navy 1965 - 1996 and proud of it. Since the other military members that answered here have gotten thumbs down for nothing more than stating the dates of their service, I wonder how many thumbs down I will collect from the "fowl crap" left and the rest of the slackers who never have worn the uniform of our country or done anything of benefit to anyone?

My family on both sides have fought in every war since the Revolutionary War through to the current mess in Iraq where 3 nephews are currently in the military there.
