Both are geniuses! Yet I believe Mozart is slightly better. Tchaikovsky and Bach are close behind as well. Mozart began composing at the age of 4, now that's a genius!

Mozart, born in 1756, had heard the young Beethoven play and said that Beethoven would surpass them all. from that remark, kind and sincere, Beethoven would attend many of Mozart's concerts himself. He always followed Mozart where possible, like a groupie. When Mozart died at 35 In 1791, Beethoven was to outlives him through 1827, some 36 years.
Comparing the two is like comparing apples and oranges, because they were unique in their own ways, and actually, Beethoven was the founder of the romantic movement.
Had Mozart lived longer, he would have done similar things to Beethoven earlier. His last works are powerful, somewhat dissonant, and project a new way of thinking about composition.
Where Mozart towered over Beethoven was his musical line. His melodies were uncanny and gorgeous, only equaled by composers like Bizet, Debussy, ravel, Gounod, Shubert and Brahms, in my opinion. Also. Mozart's operas were masdterpeieces all, where Beethoven only had composed the one Fidelio. Marts Don Giovanni is considered the cornerstone of modern opera. His numerous concerti for all known instruments is a huge accomplishment.
What Beethpoven did by founding the romantic era was to literally change forms of composition, lenthtringing movements, expanidng the orchtrestra hugely, having piano makers enlarge and improve the instruemt to allow for his so called pounding. His isuse of sudden Sforznados, or sFP, sfprzando followed by immediate sioft created huge tension along with his use of atonal chords of lenth, grinding the stomahce ahd hearts of listeners.
His 9th Symphjony witht eh choral addition for Ode To Joy will alwyas randk as a top ten all time composition.
I don;t chose: I cherish them for difgferent reasons.
I could listen to B's 7th symphony followed buy Moart's Jupotor all day.

First of all I don't want to criticize you, but these two are legends and I think you should at least learn how to spell Mozart's last name.
But to answer you question, I don't think there is a question of who is better, rather who suits your taste more. I personally prefer Beethoven because he had darker pieces i.e. 6th, 7th, sonata 14, etc. However when it came to Mozart's Requiem, absolutely stunning.

Mozart had a more thorough knowledge of composition, and put out many quality works. Beethoven was a great admirer of Mozart, and probably wished he was as good.
Do you know your name means A A in musical language?

Both of them are unique and no one can be better or worse.
Regarding the performance, Mozart is easier to work on. Beethoven's music ( except for youngsters) is much complicated.

Well when its about classical music... I prefer both... but Mozart has that beautiful song : Dies Irae and that symphony 40 ... but Beethoven has beautiful songs too.... So just sit and relax with those beautiful sounds, you could buy some candles and some flower petals, and lay down in your bath tub or jacuzzi if you own one and hear the nature around you .... mmmm So relaxing...

This question does not have a definitive answer. The key is preference. If you prefer Mozart, then in your opinion Mozart is better. I prefer not to call one better than the other since both, in my opinion are great composers.
I don't believe the terms good, better or best apply to classical composers.
