I am also 21 and I sleep with my light on. I am afraid of darkness. Its some kind of phobia I guess.

Nope. I like it pitch black when I sleep! When I get up to go to the bathroom I have to feel my way to the bathroom because I can't see my hand in front of my face it's so dark in my room (no window in the bedroom... and LOVE IT!).

No.Not at home. But I travel with one, and use it, so I can safely find my way around a strange hotel room, If I need to get up in the middle of the night.

No but I put the light on above my bed before I switch the main light off so I can get into bed without the things under the bed getting me in the dark, then once I am safely in I can turn out the light above the bed, Thanks alot, makers of the film POLTERGIEST !! I have hated clowns and the space under my bed ever since watching that film. (I was young when I saw it..... so parents who let kids watch nasty films beware! it does affect you later in life)

I'm 26 and I do. Complete darkness scares me, especially since I live in an old house that has little creaks and other noises.

i sleep with the lights off and completely dark. however, when i have a nightmare, which is somewhat usual, i need to turn my lamp on...and believe me, sometimes my nightmares are so stupid, but it don't realize it then. oh, i am a 24 year old male....with a highly imaginative imagination. (i'm a pisces, and we are known to be very creative and imaginative)

Yes, I do and I am 50 year old woman, I do not like to be in the dark it is spooky..... I need a night light, lamp, or tv. nough said,Vicky
