Xbox360 is backwards compatible. You can play the xbox game as long as it is on the compatible games list. Check microsoft or search for the current titles that can be played on xbox 360

as far as i know, you can play regular xbox games on the 360 but not 360 games on the original xbox.

it depends my friend has it and he can play some but cannot play others for example you cannot play the sims on it. he told me that he tried but it didnt work.
