If you have just started your period a couple of years ago it is completely normal for them to be irregular for the first couple years or so.

So your saying you did not engage in any intercourse since your last period? Not "I used a condom, so I know I'm not?" or some other kind of birth control, because none are 100% OK, if you've been abstinate and your period is usually regular and you've been having regular periods for at least a year you should go for a check up and see what your doctor has to say.

If you've not had your period for a long time (just a year or two), then that's not weird at all. When I first got mine, mine were irregular all the time. But after a few years they straightened out.
It could be over exercising or poor diet. If you're badly malnurished from an eating disorder, then that would explain it. However that probably isn't the case.

Well it depends on your age. If you are a teen then its PERFECTLY normal. That is because it takes awhile for your period to regulate and sometimes and can be VERY irregular and thats normal. Now if you are older than 18 than well this is a problem and i would see your doctor. Who will then put you on the pill to regulate it because its not healthy to be irregular at that age. Well good luck and i hope you get it soon! haha

if you're around 9-14 and you got your period within the past 2 years or so, then it's normal for the cycle to be irregular. but if this continues for a couple more weeks, then definitely consult your pediatrician/doctor about this.

If you are not pregnant, then you are having problems and need to see a doctor. Then he can tell you for a fact if you are or are not pregnant.

No thats not bad. It takes usually about a year or to for your period to become regular. Also if you exercise a lot that could affect it as well. but you have nothing to worry about.

It might mean that you have become too muscular as a result of overexercising. Women with well-toned skinny bodies often stop having their periods.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's bad, but you should probably see your doctor. It could be a variety of things causing this.
Check out the website below to see various causes.
