I'm going to start reporting those trolls & those people who give insulting answers. I'm SO sick & tired of this that I search for real advice in other sections & get HARSHLY insulted. I'm tired of being called dumb or being judged by my question. When I seek advice for being the victim of abuse, the answerers on here always try to make it like the abuser is right.
I know I'm too sensitive, but I shouldn't have to cry myself to sleep every night over somebody's dirty answers! & it's not about me being overly sensitive. These people are being overly harsh & getting thumbs up & best answers. INSULTS on Y!A is a violation of community guidelines. I mean, how backwards can Y!A be to consider it abusive to ask someone if they like macaroni & cheese, but it's not abusive to call somebody dumb & tell them that they should burn themselves & drown? I'm almost in tears now.

Don't let them upset you to the point of being in tears. Even if you do report them, they will create more accounts and still do the same things. They are immature and hurtful.

No offense sweetie, but people come here to get out their aggressions and such, not give advice. This is kind of a miscellaneous section. Humor reigns in this category.
I know it can be upsetting when people are rude, but don't let some faceless, nameless idiot on here upset you to the point of tears. Of course though at the end of the day there are rules to being on here, and if someone is telling you to burn yourself or drown, then they do deserve to be reported.
Just make sure you know the line between humor and offense.

I don't blame you for doing that. I always give thumbs down to insults. I only report racist remarks and people who mention or think it is funny to mention sex acts with children. The others I ignore. I also don't waste my time reporting someone if one of the answers says: reported. However I know the person who posts the offensive question has time to delete the question if someone says they have reported it. So if you are going to report some idiot, then don't says so.
Please concentrate on the nice people and "try" to ignore the idiots on here.
I don't know what is so much fun about insulting people. If I don't like a question, I ignore it. But some people........

I'm sorry you're so upset. Sometimes people say things that are totally outta line, just to get attention. While others simply have differing opinions...
Then of course there are the trolls that think they can say or do anything, without consideration for who is on the other end of that answer.
Don't cry... don't let the idiots of the world get you down. I wouldn't go reporting people just because you don't agree with them, but certainly if they've insulted you with name calling you should...

I can see you are upset. If you feel strongly that someone has violated the Community Guidelines, then it is your responsibility to report them.

wow. lighten up. get a backbone. Some people get off on attacking others. Now they know that they have hurt you and it's gonna be worse. Try to ignore them and know that you are better than them.
