Ok, I lost my cell phone about two weeks ago :[ (Verizon) and I'm not elligible for upgrade untill November :[[ but i REALLY want a new phone, maybe the enV or the dual hinge Samsung. My question is, is there anyway i can get a discount or anything so that I won't have to pay the ridiculous 400 dollars for the enV?? Can I extend my contract for a discount? If I extend my contract do I still have to pay FULL RETAIL price??
I'm really confused but I DON'T want to pay the full retail if there's anyway to avoid it.
&& lastly, I know there's a twenty five percent disount on a new phone if your old one is lost, does anyone know the conditions? Do I need to file a police report?

Go through *611 and talk to customer service, you don't have to be all the way into your time perido to at least get the 'new every two'. They can make amendments to your account, and if you are lucky they will allow you to upgrade early. If you get an early upgrade, you can get your new phone at a discounted rate.
If you do upgrade early, you will be renewing your contract, so prepare for that.
Don't sweat it, either way, you won't be paying full retail...:)

I even have Verizon and that i take advantage of the ENV2 and prefer it. It has the comprehensive keyboard, micro SD card, MP3 participant, front keypad. I did get one for my daughter, she loves hers however the front keypad is dying, some keys do no longer artwork. she would be able to nonetheless use all the keys on the interior kbd. She is extremely harsh on telephones, her Chocolate II merely lasted about6 months. one ingredient in case you get the env2 and are texting: first key to push is the recent line key, next to the L key. there is not any quickly thank you to get to the top of a line different than pushing exact key many times. a minimum of in case you do this trick you are able to press down then left to get to the top of the previous line. Buy a clunker phone used from EBay until your contract allows you to upgrade.

If you have insurance on your phone they will probably give you a phone for free. But you probably won't get a discount.
