I haven't had a ticket in 8 years...but I've been pulled over plenty of times. I always say thank you for not giving me a ticket.

I look so innocent, like a librarian, that I have gotten myself out of situations that I should have been hauled to jail for! I always said" thank you for not giving me the ticket." I do not drink & drive anymore & I don't think anyone should...

Believe it or not, yes, I have. He even warned me that the road ahead was extremely icy and the salt truck hadn't made it there yet. He was right.

No, but I did curse at one that pulled me over, after following me for 15 minutes, just to tell me that he got my license plate wrong.

absoutely. the smartest thing you can do in life is admit when you screw up and learn from your mistake. i have in fact gotten out of one when i just said, hey i did it, i screwed up and thanks for stopping me. it was a real wake up call and changed my habits behind the wheel permanently.
