I haven't had a ticket in 8 years...but I've been pulled over plenty of times. I always say thank you for not giving me a ticket.

I look so innocent, like a librarian, that I have gotten myself out of situations that I should have been hauled to jail for! I always said" thank you for not giving me the ticket." I do not drink & drive anymore & I don't think anyone should...

absoutely. the smartest thing you can do in life is admit when you screw up and learn from your mistake. i have in fact gotten out of one when i just said, hey i did it, i screwed up and thanks for stopping me. it was a real wake up call and changed my habits behind the wheel permanently.
