I did for 1 year - after my divorce... and it was great! My house was always clean...I wasn't always waiting for someone to come home... I could do my college work in total peace! - I could choose not to own a tv and no one could argue with me about it.... I went to the gym more and took better care of myself! I really miss it.

Yes, and I loved it....Peace and quite when I wanted it. No one telling me what to do. No one telling me what to eat or not eat. I could decorate my house exactly how I wanted it. I was much more attune to taking care of myself and what I needed to do for my health and happiness. I found out I could take care of me far better than anyone else. It was great. I wouldn't mind living alone again - if I could finacially afford it.

I am not one to be alone, but I can see the good things that you mentioned, always a clean house, have no one to answer to. It sounds like you are a very independent lady, which is great. I admire that.

I loved living alone. I only had my self to clean up after, I could go out as late as I wanted. So sad that I will never live alone again, but thats life

I do and I like it. I can do what I want when I want. Still it would be nice to have someone to sleep next to and share stuff but I did that for 4 years and it was a lot of headaches. maybe next time I'll get lucky and find a better match

no in high school up till the sophmore year i lived at home then i moved in with my bf of 2 years after my sophmore year and no im a freashman in college and im still livin with my bf the same one i love livin with him cuz he is always home wen i get home and there is always someone to wake up to in the morning.....i love it and i am never goin to live alone again!!

yeah i just broke up with my bf of 5 yrs so i am getting my own place in aug. i too may not have a tv and not miss it- i will need to figure out how to hook up the internet on my mac though. :)

I did for 2 years in between marriages! Once I got used to it, i met my current husband so I didn't enjoy it long enough.

It's the best!!! If something is broke you know who did it. If there's a mess you know who did it. My first night in my apartment I cooked in my underwear just because I could!!! I don't close any doors!! (only the front door of course).
