A standard one( one you can easily find in a store) is approximately 4.7 gigs. A dual-layer is double that. A double sided single layer will be approximately the same, and a double-sided, double layer, will be twice that. So, it is approximately 18.8 gigs, max.

It all depends, there are 4 gig disk, then there's Dual Layer Disk which double the capacity..

maybe 7 gig...or juz put dvd in your dvd rom .then click dvd icon at my computer...click right then click propeties and you will how many your dvd capacity

For single side writable DVD it is 4.3 GB & for dual side writting it is 9 GB.
