I've been up since 5am this morning throwing up, I feel VERY sick and I just want to die!!!!!!!!!!! I've thrown up ....7 times today and whenever I eat, I throw my food back up, I can't keep my food down. How can I help myself feel better?

If you can tolerate the taste, find some peppermint Altoids to put in your mouth and dissolve, or drink oil of peppermint (two drops in a jigger of water). That should calm your distressed system. Then do the 7-up, Gatorade, flat soda thing (try not to sip water--believe it or not, it's hard on the stomach) and then see how you feel.
In the morning, if you still feel bad, call the doc.

Plain wheat bread.

It will soak up the excess gastric juices in the stomach, and allow the stomach time to recouperate. After that (unless you are allergic) applesause is great to get the stomach going again. It's not too hard on the stomach, and hit has vitamins to replensh what you have been losing. Not to mention it feels good going down your soar throat.

Sorry to hear you're ill. It sounds like the flu and you may just have to ride it through.

However, I find light sips of cold 7up (or its equivalent Sprite, Sierra Mist) work. Also, hot, hot showers are great for muscle pain and weakness and sometimes when the body is calm, the stomach will follow suit. Broth is gentle too, but be careful it's not too heavy or with meat pieces, etc.

wow this is kinda weird. ummmm....i would call the doctor first thing tomorrow morning and tell him u are in big trouble and need help. u are in big trouble because you are dehydrated from all that throwing up. this is a big problem that needs immediate attention. can u at least keep liquids down? if you can keep liquids down i suggest you start getting some gatordade into your system. that stuff works wonders for dehydration.

get off the computer for one thing. Lay down, drink 7 up, little at a time and pat your tummy real soft, say your prayers and feel better in the morning.

Stop with the food. Your stomach needs to rest. Try sipping water or flat ginger ale. Sounds like you have the flu sweetie.

Definitely go to the doctor, but in the meantime, drink lots of tea (without lots of sugar and stuff) with lemon, drink water, and it's best not to eat anything like fruits or dairy... I'd say plain crackers or toast are your best bet.

hope you are not alone. i think you should take sid's advice and see a doc. you are going to dehydrate if this doesn't stop. no throwing up for 2 hrs and then try some water. no gatorade - too much sugar. feel better but don't let this go on for too much longer.

just lay on your stomach and watch some tv or read a book, something that distracts you. don't eat or drink until you haven't vomited in two hours, and then just sip water slowly. most likely you'll be all better by tomorrow. hope you feel better!

This may sound odd, but CatNip tea works better than anything. You can get it in teabags at Health food stores or Herbal stores.
