My husband died 6 years ago, i was very sad and angry, but losing him and seeing everyone else grieve over him, gave me a lot of perpsective, because I saw how many people truly truly loved him that he probably never even realized. It was then that I decided for the sake of my son and my family and all the other people that cared for me I needed to pick myself and continue to be an important part of their lives and to never take them for granted.

I'd have to say right now is probably the worst time in my life. My parents just told me they're going to stop paying for anything. So, now I am forced to work full time to pay for 14 hours of classes, rent, groceries, clothes, car, gasoline, insurance, etc., etc.. I am getting through it by knowing that I can do this, and it won't be all bad. I am glad I am independent and can chose what to do and how to do it. I am getting through it by knowing that I have to...and if I don't, I'll be living on the streets. Times get better...nothing stays bad forever. Its a toss up between being given a new ford, catching my girlfriend in the back of my car at the mall doing it with a married couple, and moving to New York state. I guess I would have to say it was being given a brand new ford- because even still to this day, my old trusty toyota has never given me any trouble- unlike the new ford still being serviced for multiple safety and engine factory recalls. Heck- I don't even remember what the darn thing looks like as I haven't seen it all year. It has only 28 miles on it- all actual tow truck miles, mind you. Good question though, thanks.

I relied a lot on my friends and family after my divorce and miscarriage. Even the dog helped me get through it because I knew he needed me! In short, I looked around and held on to what was good and strong in my life.

This past year, I really had some of the greatest friends who told me that they would do whatever they had to do to help me, and I actually found the love of my life through all this.

Losing my husband in a car crash. Just got through it one day at a time. Didn't do anything the first year, like they advise, and then decided on moving, changing my hairstyle, dating again, and changing jobs.

Right now. I won't go into details, but I just have to keep telling myself that each day gets better!
Treatments for breast cancer a few years ago wasn't this difficult! I had surgery, chemo (bye-bye hair) and radiation then.
